It’s All Drag to Me
I had a great time talking with Kimmie Satin about Drag. I used to watch a lot of Drag Shows in my 20’s & 30’s. Kimmie and I bowl on the same team every week and I knew he’d be great to interview.
He’s funny and real and I learned so much listening to him talk about growing up gay in the south, traveling all over the U.S. doing drag shows and his strong family ties. He shared a few tips he’s learned over the years in the makeup department and we even managed to discuss the current state of political affairs these days.
Our community is so rich and diverse. We are so lucky. Next time you’re in Nashville check out some of the best Drag shows around. If you’re lucky Kimmie Satin will be performing at one of them too!Peace and Love,
